Refund & Return Policy

Due to the personal-care nature of our products, all sales are final. For health, hygiene, and quality-control reasons, Butter by Madison does not accept returns or exchanges on body-care products once they have been purchased or shipped.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase, including the selected product, size, scent, and shipping address.

Incorrect or Damaged Orders

Please contact us within 3 days of delivery if:

• You received an incorrect item.
• An item is missing from your order.
• A product or container arrived physically damaged during transit.

Email us at info@butterbymadison.com with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging. Approved claims may be resolved with a replacement, store credit, or refund at Butter By Madison’s discretion.

Temperature-Sensitive Body Butters

Our whipped body butters are handcrafted without synthetic stabilizers and are naturally sensitive to heat. During warm weather or transit, a body butter may soften, partially melt, lose volume, or change in texture.

Melting does not affect the product’s quality, safety, moisturizing benefits, or net weight, and a melted or softened body butter is not considered damaged or defective. For this reason, refunds, replacements, or credits will not be issued solely because a body butter arrives softened, melted, or with a changed whipped texture.

If your butter arrives softened or melted, place it upright in a cool room or refrigerator until firm. Its texture may differ from the original whipped consistency, but the product remains usable.

Shipping Delays and Weather Conditions

Butter By Madison is not responsible for melting or texture changes caused by high temperatures, weather conditions, carrier delays, packages left outdoors, or packages not retrieved promptly after delivery. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and bringing packages indoors as soon as possible.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before fulfillment begins. Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
